House party !!

What a week it has been ! I just got back from Nottingham Games and i am very proud to say that we won in the 2nd year running !

What takes to make a good curry...

This blog is 2 weeks overdue, i decided that we should throw a tiny party for friends.

So the 5 at 4 started thinking of dishes on the menu

Jun can't stop butting !! even my in-grown baguette !

ain't it pretty ? i created this extra dish for this party !!

My house small dinner party. Had close friends over for yummy yummy food !
We really haven't cooked that well before. Our old 'best' dishes were okay, but this was just AWESOME !
Caleb's household bruschettas is just great topped with bacon.

L-R: Carbonara sauce, curry, poh shen's super big pot of soup,my self-made decorative hard bread, tray with 1 brushetta left, pasta, prawns, egg tart, rice, orange juice

We had hard bread with spreadings of tuna, chicken and sweetcorn, salmon topped with thin slices of cherry tomatoes and kiwi fruit for finger food/starters.

It is just so PRETTY !!!

Main courses were,
1) Curry chicken ( yheu shen's delicacy),
2) Sambal prawns( the best ever i've tasted),
3) egg tarts( the cute couple capitalising on digital tech),
4) mushroom with carbonara sauce ( a simple 5minutes dish which turned out to be the best pasta thus far)
5) Bruschettas a range of chicken, bacon and salmon.

Dessert
1) ABC soup with some chinese stuff i don't know. with dried oyster as well.

Thank you everyone for showing up. Especially Ke lun for the awesome ba kua, Yi min for the cake, Lay Wei for the hot chocolate and Kee siang for the baguette.

The place was playing R n B musics the whole night with Poh Shen's new speakers. And then, the devils appeared and they forced me to play 'ring of fire' and got me drunk.

Enough said, thank you all for coming again, i have never enjoyed cooking as much as i did that night. The 5 at 4 is awesome. JJ with the liquor, Ming, Jun and Poh Shen for the help and cooking ! not forgetting yheu shen !
