After i had breakfast ( cereal and soup ) , got dress .. wearing pink ( new year cheers ! ) headed down to the common room of my hall and met up with other hall mates .. Knowing it would be a sunny day , i couldn't put on my contact on cause i wanted to rest my eyes for another day after the cili padi incident .. lol .. cant wear my sun glasses , well , it is so much better with good eye sights .. Slept on my journey there , slept for 2 hours on the way to dover port , it was a deep sleep and it felt like i've slept for 6 hours .. !! GONG XI FA CHAI FROM LONDON !! Very bad exams to start with the CNY , went ahead with my dinner plans ... Was expecting the usual weekend gang and my mom . Nick came down from Cambridge ( for no reason , prolly homesick i guess ) Dinner was suppose to be at 1030pm because hann finish work at around 10 and i had a basketball semi final game. Anyways spent almost 2 hours shopping for food in Sainsbury and Chinatown . Had an hour long conversation with my dad , an additional 20minutes with my sis and almost another hour with my brother and almost ALL my relatives . So nice to hear their voices . They're all in IPOH .. They had awesome food as usual , with my 2nd aunt as the best chef ever . started with boiling my chicken soup at 4pm. Prepared ingredients for my sambal prawn , My 1st ever sambal prawn dish which proved to be a success !!! Prepared Char Siew Chicken , also my 1st attempt ! Me and my mommy , she is such a poser like me 2008 !!! First it was my 1st new year in LONDON Now it is my 1ST CHINESE NEW YEAR IN LONDON !!! Sad to say , i had exams on the 7th and 8th of Feb ,faired badly ( am not sure of the outcome yet ) hall dinner , spring roles , herbal egg , beef curry , fried bean curd. but it was something for me to look into and learn from my mistakes . Knowing i do not have much time to study , i will have to make full use of my time considering i also live 30minutes away from UNI . Leave the sad things apart, time to look forward to the new year ! Prior to the the New year eve , i cooked up something for my mom and myself . I just couldn't stand burying myself in the books on CNY eve !! ..
