Brugge trip!!

Continued from the previous post ...
After i had breakfast ( cereal and soup ) , got dress .. wearing pink ( new year cheers ! )
headed down to the common room of my hall and met up with other hall mates ..
Knowing it would be a sunny day , i couldn't put on my contact on cause i wanted to rest my
eyes for another day after the cili padi incident .. lol .. cant wear my sun glasses , well ,
it is so much better with good eye sights ..
Slept on my journey there , slept for 2 hours on the way to dover port , it was a deep sleep and it felt like i've slept for 6 hours .. !! Anyways , now most of my hall mates know that i snore when i sleep .. lol .. can't believe my friends didn't wake me up .. they jeered along .
arrived at dover , this ferry was slightly smaller than the 1 i boarded to LES ARCS ( SKI TRIP ) ,
anyways , forgot to bring card , and i found a big sofa ( nevertheless failed to sleep ) .
chilled under the sunny skies at the dock of the ferry , brings back the good memories in Redang , except i'm wearing 2 layers rather than wearing only a singlet .

Continued our journey to Brugge , Belgium right after and arrived around 1230 . It is amazing how we travelled from London to Belgium , i never saw the border of France and Belgium . We were at France a moment after exciting the ferry and the next second we're already in Belgium ' AMAZING ' Europe is packed !

Started off with our journey , followed the supposedly GROUP TOUR '. We were just behind them but we lost them in less than 10 minutes !! thx to me wanting to take too many pictures ..
Well , with the trusty Brugge map and guide book, brought ourselves around pretty well too ..
Brugge is just amazing , known to be a town famous for its Chocolate and its landmarks .
The scenery was eye-catching , the environment of the city , simply indescribable .
They have horse carriages showing ppl around the city and it was so peaceful !
The smell of the belgian chocolates was equally amazing . The scent diverting my path every 10 seconds . Chocolatier , Leonidas , Neuhas , Chocolaterie Roose , you name it .. everything is there !!!

Had lunch at HOTEL RESTAURANT CENTRAL .. had Moules casserole , irresistible.. Very fresh ..expensive though ( it cost us euro 17.50 for 1.2 kg )..went to Burg right after .. shot some awesome pictures ..

We only had 5 hours in Brugge .. 1445 .. had to buy some souvenirs for my family .. got post cards and a magnet decorative .. only changed 15 pounds worth of Euro , had to buy little chocolate for mummy and friends .. Got only some fresh chocolate , now i don't buy packed chocolates anymore unless i'm going to keep it . The freshly handmade chocolates are so so tasty , melts in your mouth and the taste just sinks in ..

Strolled around with our trusty map. there were carriages touring tourist around.
went to get some souvenirs. Stopped by hypermarket !!.. Everyone bought brew !!
Bought vodka and chococapric !! ( the twin of coco crunch !! )
Arrived at my hall 1130pm ... Nick was doing work on the ferry all the way and the 1st thing he did when he got back is DO WORK !! Cambridge boy ..

My 2nd trip out of UK .. though it was only 5 hours.. and it was on the 3rd day of CNY..
It was still an awesome trip to the city of chocolates..

AFTER PARTY !!!
went to flat 12 to have a CNY party !! all the way till 5am !!.. i think i slept less than 10 hours for 3 days !! ... its crazy ... but well its all in the name of fun !! loads of drinking and playing !

1st week in uk

piccadilly circus something . my room .. chinatown at leicester square so its my 1st week in the uk huh .. nah .. its like err .. 10 days already stayed in uncle allen's place for like .. 4 days .. moved into my halls of residence on the 29th .. its really far from UNI .. but have to bear with it .. only thing nice is its cosy and i have my own toilet !! which doesn't have a lock !! .. anyways .. yea .. been around uk the 1st few days .. not much time though.. recovered from jet lag in like 2 days .. dad took 3 days... so pretty much fun .. went to shell centre at waterloo , imax theater , london eye , westminister abbey , , house of parliament , buckingham palace ( 15 pounds thx god it closed when i arrived ) , london bridge , tower of london , tower bridge , museums , wembly !! .. hehe.. it was fun ..but quite tiring .. and costly .. yea so back to my accommodation , have to waste 22.30 pounds a week on travelling .. imagine how far i can drive with that amount of petrol ..

Just like how he likes to call me his beloved youngest son. No, I may not want to dance with my daddy : p but I feel so much like hugging him now. I owe so much to him. This song may not mean as much to others but to me, it may me feel so much for my dad, my dad is the greatest : ) I often go around telling my friends how cool he is, he's the 'cool dad'. Yes he is, he has always showered me with love, tolerated me and teaching me the right and wrongs in life. I think I should not be too emotional in this post by I love this song so much and it has made me realise how much I much appreciate my love ones, not just my dad, everyone around me that cares for me. I will not go around telling others how you should love your dad but I am sure somehow or some way, he has taught, guide and love you in a way he thinks is best
